WPS Agenda

The Women, Peace, and Security Agenda began with the adoption of Resolution 1325 in 2000 at the UN Security Council. Since then, 9 more resolutions were adopted. Broadly, these resolutions address sexual violence in armed conflict, call for the increased participation of women in peace processes, and seeks to prevent and protect women while also prioritizing relief and recovery. This section lists out Security Council Resolutions 1235 through 2493.
